General Parts Return Policy
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Parts Return Policy (as defined below), parts in merchantable condition may be returned to Power Equipment Distributors, from which the parts were originally purchased. This policy does not apply to accessories or equipment. Once RGA (Return Goods Authorization) is approved we will send a copy of the RGA acknowledgement. Parts must be returned within 30 days from the date of the RGA to be considered an authorized return. Please include a copy of the RGA with the return.
Merchantable Condition
Merchantable Condition will be determined by Power Equipment Distributors ability to return the item to its inventory for resale in the normal course of business without special preparation, testing, handling or expense. Additionally, an RGA will not be issued for “take-offs” from warranty campaigns, unit conversions, upgrades (including promo upgrades), or service tools and kits. Power Equipment Distributors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all returned items.
The following represent items that are non-returnable:
- Parts with price tags and/or permanent labels affixed
- Parts marked with paint sticks or permanent markers
- Parts that are rusty, dirty or scratched
- Parts that have been used
- Parts with damaged packaging
- Parts in any other condition which affects the appearance or performance of the part
- Parts sold in quantities or packs (Example: shop packs, cases of oil, etc.) must be returned in full pack quantities
- Parts with a limited shelf life (Ex: belts, gaskets, tires, hoses, etc.). These items are subject to inspection by PED.
- Manuals, videos, sales or training materials
- Parts not sold directly to you by Power Equipment Distributors
- Obsolete or superseded parts (as indicated in the current Parts Price list)
- Parts noted in the current Parts Price list as being not eligible for return
- Parts purchased more than 36 months from date of RGA request
Credit Amount
Credit for authorized returns will be issued upon receipt of product and verification of return eligibility. Credit amount to be issued will be determined from original purchase price.
Unauthorized or Unmerchantable Condition
Returns received without prior authorization or containing items not eligible for return will not be accepted and credit will not be issued. For any items received without prior authorization, are in unmerchantable condition, or are non-returnable you will be notified and asked for disposition on the items. No response after 15 days to the disposition request will result in the parts being scrapped and credit will not be issued. Any items requested to be sent back to you will have the return freight charged to you.
